Ryan E. Hofsess, DDS
Care with a clear point of view.
Dr. Ryan Hofsess brings a thoughtful eye for detail and a personal commitment to helping people feel good about their smiles. His approach combines biomimetic and restorative dentistry, aesthetic planning, and modern digital tools, with care shaped around what matters to you and what will support your teeth over time.
Dr. Hofsess on LinkedInHe believes the best care starts with listening: what you want to improve, what has worried you in the past, and what would help you feel at ease. From a small repair to a more involved plan, his goal is to help you understand your options and feel confident moving forward.
A strong foundation. A commitment to keep learning.
Dr. Hofsess earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Detroit Mercy, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2020. Since then, he has continued to deepen his training in the areas that help him care for teeth comprehensively.
- More than 300 hours of continuing education in implant dentistry.
- Fellowship with the California Implant Institute.
- Additional courses in occlusion and endodontics (root canal therapy).
- Extensive ongoing study in biomimetic and restorative dentistry.
That ongoing study informs a practical approach to care: preserve what can be preserved, understand how the bite works, and plan each step with the whole person in mind.
A smile you feel good about.
The aesthetic side of dentistry is a particular interest for Dr. Hofsess. He takes pride in helping patients improve the appearance of their teeth and smile while keeping health, function, and natural character at the center of the plan.
Sometimes a small, carefully considered change can make a meaningful difference in how someone feels about their smile. He enjoys working through those possibilities with you, paying attention to proportion, shape, and the details that make a result feel personal.
